This compact ZIGBEE 3.0 Gateway (Hub) from Mi-Boxer connects to your Wi-Fi router with a wired connection and acts as a bridge between your smartphone or smart speaker so that you can control your lighting devices from the free "Mi-Boxer Smart" Application on your smartphone or with voice control through your smart speaker.
First place the gateway next to your router, connect the RJ45 plug into the gateway and a spare socket on your router, connect the included USB cable into the gateway power port and to a USB power socket to provide power to the gateway.  Power on the gateway and wait for the two status indicators on the gateway to show that it is connected.  Download the "Mi-Boxer Smart" application from the Apple App Store or from Google Play onto your smartphone and follow the instructions to connect your gateway to your router.
Once you have registered your account through the application you can start to add your ZIGBEE lighting and control devices into the application giving them names and putting the products into virtual rooms on your device.  The gateway is compatible with all the Mi-Boxer / Mi-Light ZIGBEE product range and most third-party ZIGBEE products can be controlled from the application by simply adding them to your virtual application.  You will then have full control over each device locally and from anywhere in the world setting up routines such as sleep and awake plans and timer settings.
For voice control, follow the instructions on how to pair your Smart Speaker to your device, the gateway works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Note: There is a QR code on the data sheet supplied with your gateway that will take you to the app store to download the "Mi-Boxer Smart" application and also a QR code that will take you to a helpful installation video.
