COB series LED Strip Light uses chip-on-board technology to create continuous tunable white lighting. The high density of LEDs produces a seamless linear light without the need of a diffused cover. Dotless illumination is ideal for reflective surfaces such as granite countertops, tile floors, and more. The tunable white is also helpful for environments requiring circadian rhythm lighting, such as hospitals and care facilities. Pair with a controller (sold separately) to select from a range from cool to warm white, or changing pattern.

This is ideal for use in domestic and commercial environments when the right blend of light can create the perfect ambience in an room to suite your mood. For example, when used in lounge or kitchen areas for working or reading, the lighting can be adjusted to a more cool white light whereas when a more relaxing environment is required, a warmer light can be instantly selected.
For the office or work room, a combination of both warm and cool white light (which is more relaxing on the eyes), can easily be achieved.

A new type of FOB strip
FOB strip means Flexible COB Strip, that's a new design type of LED strip products. As now the LED Strip is by SMD LED+ FPC, so there must with some light dot or spot. Now this FOB Strip is flip chip design covered with phosphor directly, so the color is even and without any light spot. For example, customers usually use the high density LED Strip as such as 2216, 2210 LED Strip. But even with 240LEDs per meter, you will still found light dot when the profile is thin. Like this:

These Dynamic Tunable lights give you full control over what specific shade of white you want at any time. You no longer have to worry about finding the exact replacement to match with existing lighting colors. You can match existing lighting that is in the same area by using the remote to change the LED strip's CCT setting until you find the perfect match. Set, then forget!

Lighting is not only important in its function of general illumination and brightness. Lighting color, purity, and CCT can affect our emotions, health, and sleep patterns. High CCTs like the midday sun help us stay awake and focused. However, at night, our circadian rhythm (internal clock) can be interrupted by our constant use of high CCT man-made lighting (think about using your bright phone screen at night in bed). Disruptions in this rhythm can result in health issues such as obesity, cardiovascular and neurological problems like sleep disorders. Researchers have found that CCTs above 5500K (containing a high amount of blue light) can disrupt our circadian rhythm by keeping us up when we should naturally be sleeping. 

Tunable white LED lighting enables us to return to our natural circadian rhythm by giving us that range of lighting in either our homes or in the workplace. In the daytime when you need to focus, you can change the lighting to 6000K while in the evening before bed, you can decrease the CCT to 2700K, promoting the natural release of melatonin to help you sleep.

Use of environmental conditions
1). LED strips installation must be operated by professionals.
2). For avoiding LED get vulcanized, LED strip should be installed in the environment where does not has oil and corrosive substances. Such as these substances which contain Sulphur、Bromine、Iodine and Chlorine. Some other chemical elements which will cause Aromatic hydrocarbons releasing(such as: methylbenzene、xylene、methyl acetoacetate Ethyl acetate etc.).The environment in which includes strong acid and strong base.
3). For cutting LED strip operation, it is necessary to use the standard accessories provided by smartbrightLEDs (e.g. DC wire, end-cap, front-cap, adhesive, etc.), and according to the correct cutting and connecting method for the installation.
4). LED strip cannot be installed in some areas where water hazard might be formed, such as the surface of pits and ditches. And similar places in which rain and water may be accumulated easily.
5). Please do not strongly pull、crash the LED strips during  installation  process. And avoid squeezing and scratching LED strips with sharp objects.
6). During the warranty period, only defective products are acceptable to be replaced by the factory.  Factory is not responsible for other expenses because of replacement，such as transportation fee, installation fee, etc.
 

Cautions 1. In order to guarantee the LED life and the use environment, cannot make any force when the product lighting use to pull the power cables, forbids to collide, in order to avoid damages LED. 2. For better lighting effect of the product, each 5 meters strip must connect the main power source. 3. Must guarantee that each power source (GND) must be connected. 4. Should not be curving in the diameter 60mm following radian, please do not rebate, in order to avoid damage lamp bead or break. 5. Please follow the user manual for installation. 6. Please note the careful operation, in the power source connection's situation, will touch the alternating current supply end possibly to cause your safety. 7. In the actual application, the power source should retain 20% remainders, guaranteed that the sufficiency the voltage lightens LED. 8. Installs as far as possible the product in the appropriate environment. 9. Pays attention to the power cable in the installment process positive and negative extremely, please do not wrong, power source and product voltage to be whether correct, in order to avoid creates the product the damage.

** If you do not follow the above "Cautions" to operate and result in damaging the product, the factory will not accept maintenance and return.
