Use this light dimmer to bring down the brightness going into LED light strips that don't have a dimmer option. Programmable LED lights sometime leave off a dimmer option on the controller. Hooking this 12 to 24 VDC light dimmer between the power supply and the controller brings down the brightness of the preprogrammed light sequences. Single color LED light strips may not have a controller and this dimmer will bring the lights down to all the way off if needed. Make sure the lights strips don't draw more than 8A or the dimmer will burn out.
